Apr. 14--Experts say retailers, both local and national, will receive a nice basket from the Easter Bunny this year.
One retailer is expecting strong Easter and spring sales.
"This is the biggest year for (artificial) flowers," said David Sigmon, general manager of A.C. Moore Arts & Crafts on Gunbarrel Road. "People want to get ready for spring with spring colors."
The craft store has a large selection of flowers, hanging baskets, outdoor pottery, Easter egg kits and basket stuffers, he said. Although yarn is not seasonal, it is popular this time of year as well, he said. Easter is A.C. Moore's second strongest holiday, Mr. Sigmon said.
