Fed: Australian health ready to act on SARS, Costello
Federal Treasurer PETER COSTELLO says Australia's public health authorities won't be
reticent about containing any SARS outbreak here.
Two female flight attendants have been isolated at Sydney's St Vincent's Hospital after
showing symptoms of the virus when returning to Australia from China yesterday.
NSW Health communicable diseases acting director PAUL ARMSTRONG says early tests indicate
that the women don't have the disease.
